CM lauds cabinet committee for best security arrangements during Ashura

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that members provincial cabinet committee made best security arrangements for the protection of life and property of the people during Muharram-ul-Haram particularly Yaum-e-Ashur. He said that due to the blessings of Almighty Allah and round the clock efforts of members of cabinet committee, the law and order situation remained under control during Muharram-ul-Haram particularly Yaum-e-Ashur in the province. He said that we will have to work with the same spirit and determination for establishing peace in future as well.

He said this while presiding over a high level meeting, here today. Shahbaz Sharif said that all members of cabinet committee discharged their national obligation efficiently for maintenance of law and order by working day and night. He said that provincial departments and institutions as well as concerned agencies worked under best coordination.

The Chief Minister said that all concerned departments, police and administration ensured establishment of peace by working in a coordinated manner and worked like a team. He said that promotion of brotherhood, tolerance, patience and harmony is need of the hour for taking Pakistan forward.

Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah, Special Assistant Rana Maqbool Ahmed, Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal, Inspector General Police, Secretary Home, Commissioner Lahore Division, Secretary Information, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board, DCO Lahore, CCPO Lahore, DG Rescue 1122 and senior officials of law enforcement agencies attended the meeting.
