Center for eradication of violence against women will be built in Multan

Lahore: The ground-breaking ceremony of a special center for eradication of violence against women will be held in Multan on Wednesday, October 28 under the aegis of Special Monitoring Unit for Law & Order.

On the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, special facilities will be provided to the women facing violence in these centers. Ministers of Population Welfare, Social Welfare, Senior Member SMU Salman Sufi, UN Representative in Pakistan and Ambassadors of Canada, Australia and Netherlands and high-ranking personalities will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony.
