45 more trucks carrying relief items being sent to KPK: Spokesman PDMA Punjab

Raja Ashfaq Sarwar-4Lahore: Spokesman of PDMA Punjab has said that on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, 45 more trucks carrying relief items are being sent immediately to KPK for earthquake affectees. He said that 40 trucks are carrying ten thousand tents, ten thousand food hampers and ten thousand blankets while five trucks with 45 thousand flour bags of 20 kg each. He said that PDMA will continue to send relief goods to KPK government in this hour of distress.

The spokesman told that Provincial Ministers Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Ch.Sher Ali and Commissioner Rawalpindi have handed over 50 trucks carrying first consignment of relief goods to Malakand and Peshawar administration. He told that a mobile hospital unit and three medical teams will provide treatment facilities to the earthquake affectees.

He told that six persons died due to earthquake in various cities of the province whereas 15 persons injured severely while 92 persons with minor injury. He told that two buildings in Kasur and Rawalpindi
damaged badly while 44 buildings damaged partially.
