The Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum called on Air Chief Marshal Sohail  AmanLahore: The Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum called on Air Chief Marshal Sohail  Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The meeting was arranged in connection with ‘Meet the Leaders Series’, where these young talented men and women interact with inspiring personalities.
Begum Talat Sohail, President Pakistan Air Force Women Association was also present during the meeting.

While talking to the dynamic youth of this forum, the Air Chief said that a passionate younger generation, and a committed leadership has made Pakistan one of the most resilient and forward looking nations in the world. He advised the shapers to acquire knowledge, show commitment and empathy to achieve excellence in life. The Air Chief encouraged the Global Shapers to create more interactive sessions between the leadership and the youth, where they can discuss the challenges and opportunities of Pakistan. Begum Talat Sohail, while sharing her experiences said that life of a soldier is not as easy as we may think, but infact  it is an honour to be a part of the family which protects our national sovereignty.

The founder and President of the Forum, Puruesh Chaudhary along with other exceptionally talented young men and women initiated ‘Meet the Leaders’ series in a bid to bridge the gap between the young generation and the inspirational leadership all across the globe. The Global Shapers Community – of the World Economic Forum provides the youth with a global platform to shape the future of our coming generations.Although this Community is diverse in cultural and social backgrounds, yet it is united by a common desire to channel the members’ energy and enthusiasm into building a more peaceful and inclusive world. In Pakistan, a Hub each is present in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi; these are a part of the larger network of hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.
