Ch Sarwar ousts Sikandar Hayat from PTI for assaulting another member

Lahore: PTI Punjab Organizer suspended the basic party membership of Sikandar Hayat on disciplinary grounds and referred the matter to Discipline and Ethics Committee of the party for perusal.

According to details, in a meeting of the party office bearers in Chairman Secretariat on Wednesday, central member Sikandar Hayat physically assaulted another member Mirza Muhammad Jhelumi following a verbal argument.

Ch Sarwar took a stern action against violation of the party discipline and referred the matter to the Discipline and Ethics Committee seeking its report within a week. The final decision to revoke the membership would be made in light of the report of the committee.
