India will have to consider the four-point peace proposal: PM Nawaz Sharif

Prime Minister Nawaz SharifLahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday said that sooner or later, India will have to consider the four-point peace proposal he presented at the United National General Assembly.

Talking to the newsmen here at London Airport before departure for homeland, the Prime Minister said he had raised all issues and gave concrete proposals with sincerity for their resolution and reducing tension between the two countries.

He said that the proxy war against Pakistan from across the border should come to an end.

Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan had the evidence of involvement of Indian spy agency RAW in the subversive activities in the country that had also been shared with the United Nations.

He was confident that the dossier Pakistan handed over to the UN would have an impact.

To a question, the Prime Minister said international community was listening to the Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and peace could not be achieved through allegation trade.

He said tension in the region affected development process and there was no other method to resolve the issues but dialogue.

Nawaz Sharif said both Pakistan and India needed to adopt a balanced approach towards resolution of the issues and sooner the dialogue process starts, the better its results would be.
