Minister warns to shut the industries damaging environment

Lahore: Minister for excise & taxation Mujtaba Shuja has warned the industrialists that the government would shut that industries which are threat to environment in Lahore so they should adopt preventive measures immediately.

These industries should take immediate preventive and safety measures to avert legal action.
It was decided in a meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman was also attended by Provincial Minister for Industry Chaudhry Shafique, Secretary Industry Bela Javed, Director Environment Tahir Ali and officers of district government.

The meeting was told that there is a need to adopt safety measures by most of the industries in Lahore and these have been warned in this regard.
