KPK and Punjab Police agrees to continue cooperation at all levels

Lahore: The cooperation between the KPK and Punjab Police will continue at all levels with a view to foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and criminals. Because, the basic and prime responsibility of police across Pakistan is to ensure the justice and maintenance of law and order.

These views were express by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera during a meeting with the senior police officers of KPK held at Central Police Office, Lahore today. These officers were included Addl: IGP, Elite Police Force, KPK, Tariq Javaid, Principle Elite Police Training School, KPK, SSP Col ® Momin, SP Elite Police, Force Peshwar,  Maj ® Rahat, whereas, Addl: IGP Elite Police Force, Punjab, Muhammad Tahir, Addl: IGP Training, Punjab, Capt. (R), Usman Khattak represents the Punjab Police.

IGP Punjab said that Punjab police is prepared to exchange the capabilities of training expertise of each other and for the purpose SOPs will be finalized very soon under which the training exchange program between two provinces will be started.

On this occasion, the KPK Police Officers told that all terrorist effected areas particularly Shawal, Sawat etc have become very peaceful by the efforts of Pakistan Army and KPK Police. They said that this is the reason that tourism industry is flourishing very fastly in KPK.

Later, the KPK police officers visited the Elite Police Training Center Bedian, Lahore. The senior officers of the centers briefed the delegation regarding the working and methodology of training institute. The delegation of the Punjab police will also visit KPK very soon and MOU will be signed between the two province’s police departments to enhance the cooperation in training and other relevant areas of police
