Motorway Police foil an attempt of crime and arrested the accused Bashir Ahmad

Lahore: National Highways & Motorway Police N-5 Central have foiled an attempt of crime and arrested one criminal on national highways near Kasowal and recovered illegal weapons and ammunition.

The Motorway Police, Central Zone  Patrolling Officers Mian Ashiq Hussain and Muhammad Rafiq  while on patrolling  observed a suspicious man  on national highways who ran away after seeing the NH&MP patrolling officers . The Patrolling officers asked to stop him but he tried to escape, however patrolling officer successfully managed to arrest the criminal namely Bashir Ahmed r/o Lahore and recovered illegal arms and ammunition from his custody. The arrested criminal along with recovered weapons handed over to local police for further investigation. The Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig appreciated bravery & excellent performance the efforts of patrol officers.
