Dr.Rauf Azam assumes the charge of Vice Chancellor University of Education

Lahore: Dr.Rauf Azam has assumed the charge of Vice Chancellor University of Education and he has started office work properly today. It is worth mentioning here that after the final approval of Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Punjab Rafiq Rahwana, Higher Education Department had issued notification of his appointment.

Dr.Rauf Azam considers as an eminent educationist of Pakistan whose teaching as well as research aptitude and skills are remarkable. Dr.Rauf Azam obtained Doctorate degree from Nara Institute of Science and Technology Japan with distinction and has shown outshine performance at various national and international recognized institutions. Dr.Rauf Azam has fine tune in the field of mathematics, information technology, economics and other related areas and has been providing consulting services to number of organizations in education and management field. On reaching varsity’s main campus in Lahore, Directors, Principals of different campuses and divisions, administrative officers and staff as well warmly welcomed and appreciated his appointment a wise decision for the best interest of university.
