Resignation of Senator Mushahid ullah Khan is not enough: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

Khurram Nawaz GandapurLahore: The Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that resignation of Senator Mushahid ullah Khan and government’s rejection of his statement is not enough as his crime comes under the ambit of Article 6 of the Constitution.

In a statement issued here on Saturday by the PAT media cell Gandapur said that Mushahidullah’s saying that the government knew what happened in London and who was going on a long march when and from where proves the deep relationship of the government’s knowledge before hand of the Model Town tragedy. Heĺ said the removal of encroachments in Model Town was all a big drama and the killings had been planned well before the incident only to stop the PAT from joining hands with Imran Khan.

Citing the fresh incident the PAT Secretary said that in the recent past the Punjab Chief Minister and the Defense Minister of Pakistan had also issued such statements but no action was initiated against them. He said the legal experts of PAT have already been instructed to review Mushahidullah’s statement and it be made part of the evidence of the Model Town case.

Gandapur said that the Prime Minister’s House has for long been the hub of conspiracies and had been working to create factious cases against the participants of the sit-ins and long march. He said nearly every PML-N minister has been harping the same tunes against PAT leaders and its workers and it would be better if a high level commission is formed to probe all the allegations of the ministers.

He said the prime minister after kicking Mushahidullah out of the cabinet should also initiate an enquiry against him and against those who have been issuing similar statements. He said it is necessary for the PM to do this as it would expose the fixed match drama he is playing to save the skin of his Senator.
