PFA seals oil factory for using non edible parts of meat to extract oil

Lahore: A special squad of PFA under the supervision of Ayesha Mumtaz Director Operations raided oil extraction units from chicken eviscerate.

The team found non edible parts of meat were being used for oil extraction, No proper record of ins & out of the factory, Extremely foul smell of dead meat all around, No traceability of oil to be use in food chain,The persons were unable to provide solid evidence not to use dead bird or animal with meat of live one.

PFA special team sealed all the 3 oil extraction units at Badro village Babu sabu. Three persons have been arrested. FIR lodged as well.
