PTI won’t thank MQM, JUI-F for taking back their motions:Jahangir Tareen

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Organizer Jahangir Tareen dared ruling coalition to de-seat elected representatives belonging to his party claiming that PTI would return to Parliament with greater margins if forced to re-election.

Addressing the press in Lahore on  Thursday, he backed operation against extortionists, targeted killer and criminals and called acts and statements of Altaf  Hussain terrorism and treason. He also announced his party’s support to Kalabagh dam but conditioned it to consensus among provinces. He warned Punjab government  against any further delay in local bodies elections in Punjab and stated that PTI was all set to bag victory in upcoming LG polls.

He announced inauguration of PTI Central Secretariat in Lahore on August 22 and holding Kissan Convention in Vehari on August 8, Imran Khan is not an individual but an ideology driving PTI and party is united under him, he stated while adding that differences were part of democratic culture and democratic parties. He ruled out any division in party ranks and said all the decisions were being made after consultations and consensus in all four provincial chapters of PTI. He winnowed out to offer any gratitude to MQM and JUI-F for withdrawing deseating motions against PTI.

He said PTI believes in democracy and was struggling for a democratic Pakistan and would play its part in Parliament. Commenting on recent floods, he said had rulers built Bhasha and other dams timely, Pakistan would not have been suffering from flooding every year. He refused to comment on internal matters of the party citing ban by Chairman in this effect.

PTI Punjab Organizer Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, on this occasion, said only PTI was real threat to ruling PML-N in upcoming polls. He was certain about PTI’s victory in LG elections given the organization of party in provincial capital Lahore as well as the whole province.

He  said public was frustrated over corruption and inefficient governance of PML-N and PPP.No other party but PTI is hope of people and the dream of Naya Pakistan would be materialized soon, he stated. Responding to a query, he said the report of Judicial Commission on election rigging has strengthened PTI’s stance. He announced to observe Independence Day across the Punjab with full fervor.
