Former Pakistan Olympic Association secretary general Muhammad Latif Butt passed away

Former Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) secretary general Muhammad Latif ButtLahore: Former Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) secretary general Muhammad Latif Butt passed away. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Latif Butt.

Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, President, PHF, Rana Mujahid Ali, Secretary General PHF and the entire hockey family of Pakistan is deeply grieved on the sad demise of Latif Butt, Ex. Secretary General, Pakistan Olympic Association who held this position for about one decade. May Allah Almighty in His Infinite mercy shower His blessings and grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Latif Butt will always be memorized for his contributions to sports in Pakistan. He was well recognized at Asian level as a great sport leader. The PHF Management and staff express their grief and sorrow to the bereaved family and pray to Allah Almighty for the blessing of the departed soul.

Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, President, PHF, Rana Mujahid Ali, Secretary General PHF and the entire hockey family of Pakistan is also deeply grieved on the sad demise of Mr. Mansoor-ul-Haque Bhutta’s younger son, who passed away due to cancer. Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar has condoled the death of former secretary Pakistan Olympics Association (POA) Latif Butt, who died here after a brief illness.

In a condolence message, DG SBP Usman Anwar expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace. He lauded the service of late Latif Butt for the cause of sports in the country.
