PTI is not interested in confrontational politics: Ch Sarwar

PTI Ch sarwar Pic 03 AugstLahore: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has said the PTI is not interested in confrontational politics but at the same time it will not bow before any oppressor. He said good governance in Punjab has vanished and flood-affected people were lying in helplessness.

He said the incumbent rulers were afraid of defeat in the local elections and seemed busy in avoiding the polls. He said those criticising the Pakistan Army were country’s enemies and must be brought to book.

Women were playing a vital role in strengthening the party, said Chaudhary Sarwar while talking to a women’s delegation led by PTI Women Wing Punjab president Saloni Bukhari, Lahore president Dr Zarqa and MPA Saadia Sohail at party office .

He said party chairman Imran Khan had enkindled the political awareness among all segments of society particularly youth and women. He said the political awareness had charged women to play their role for bringing positive change in the country.

He said the change had come because PTI had braced itself for rescuing the country from the clutches of corrupt and inhumane system. He regretted that the rulers had only gave fake assurances to masses during its over two years rule and could visibly see their defeat in the upcoming local body elections. He said the Punjab rulers were afraid of holding local body elections.

Chaudhary Sarwar said the Pakistan army men were laying their lives in the war against terrorism to safeguard the sovereignty of the country and those criticising the army were the enemies of Pakistan and Pakistanis. He said such elements must not be spared but tried as per law and constitution so that nobody should ever think of conspire against Pakistan’s sovereignty and wellbeing.
