Pakistan Tchouckball Team leaves for Taiwan to participate in World Tchouckball Championship

Vice Chairman Ch Waseem Akhter RamayLahore: The Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tchouckball Federation Ch Waseem Akhter Ramay see off Pakistan Tchouckball Team at Lahore Airport. The team leaves for Taiwan where it shall participate in World Tchouckball Championship from 5th to 9th August.

Ch Waseem  Akhter Ramay informed that the main purpose of this event to involve youth in healthy activities and to represent Pakistan in an international event.

Ch Waseem Akhter Ramay told that the foundation has beard all its expenses for last seven years and this is first time that Pakistan Sports Board has provided team with its affiliation and ground. He hoped that the team shall help face lifting of nation by its performance.

Ch Waseem Akhter Ramay informed that Tchouckball is a Swiss game started in Switzerland in 1970 by Dr Herman. There are seven members of team in Tchouckball and they can goal on both sides and it’s a fast game for youth.

There are 26 teams participating in this world championship and Pakistani team is participating first time in the world event as earlier the Pakistan team has defeated India at home ground.

Ch Waseem Akhter Ramay while talking to media thanked DG PSB Akhter Ganjera for his support and affiliation of team with the Pakistan Sports Board and also reiterated its commitment to provide healthy opportunities to the youth of Pakistan. The youth is the future of Pakistan, he further added.
