The CHC Pilot Project of Lahore Police will be expanded in all police stations: IG Mushtaq Sukhera

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad SukheraLahore: The CHC Pilot Project of Lahore Police will be expanded in all police stations of the province within next 6 months with a view to improve the performance of the police and provision of timely justice to the complainants.

This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, while addressing the police darbar at Police Lines, Bahawalpur today, RPO Bahawalpur, Dr. Ehsan Sadiq and all regional police officers were also present on this occasion.

The PPO said that first time in the history of Punjab police the welfare funds really diverted towards the welfare of the police force and the children of these police officials can get admission in renowned educational institutes along with scholarships.

Mushtaq Sukhera further said that Government has also approved the Shaheed package upto 150 lac, besides, the children of Shaheeds would be appointed upto grade 7 posts.

IGP said that crime rate of murder decreased by 25% and overall the law and order situation in the province is also satisfactory with your valuable performance.

He also directed the force not to involve the innocent people in various cases on the request of complainants.

While answering the quaries of the media on the occasion, IGP said that the proposal of direct appointment of DSPs is under consideration but nothing has been finalized in this regard yet. He also told that the officials of Punjab police are equally on board in evacuation of flood effectees as a first respondent, concluded the IGP.
