Metro Station Qurtaba Chowk sinks in the rain water

Lahore: Torrential rain inundated not only low-lying areas in Lahore but also the modern societies including the Metro Station Qurtaba Chowk.

The metropolis received a rain about 93mm in the different parts that failed the drain system and Shahbaz Sharif Paris turned into Venice as almost all the roads and streets of the city engulfed by the rain water.

Rain water could not be cleared even after the hours of the rain despite the restless efforts of the district’s administration.
