Afzaal Bhatti inquires after a victim of throwing acid at Mayo Hospital

Lahore: On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister, Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Afzaal Bhatti inquired after Farah Hussain, wife of an overseas Pakistani Sajjad Hussain at Mayo Hospital who became victim of throwing acid.

Advisor Health Punjab Khawaja Salman Rafique, DIG Capt. Mubeen, DIG Operations Haider Ashraf, SSP Investigation Ayyaz Saleem and MS Mayo Hospital also accompanied him.

Afzaal Bhatti inquired about the health of Farah Hussain and took briefing from doctors about the patient. He directed to provide all possible treatment facilities to Farah Hussain victim of throwing acid. In the area of Nawankot, unknown persons threw acid on Farah Hussain, wife of Muhammad Sajad Hussain residing in Oman and fled away.

The woman was shifted to Mayo Hospital in seriously injured condition. Police of Nawankot Police Station registered a case under Terrorism Act against unknown persons and has started investigation.
