Motorways Police driving school launches new courses

DIG Mirza Faran BaigLahore: Central Zone road safety driving school have launched new courses and techniques to help road users reduce casualties in Pakistan. This is stated by DIG Mirza Faran Baig while observing the performance of Road Safety Institute of Central Zone, Lahore.

DIG Mirza Faran Baig said NH&MP courses will equip current and new road users with the specialist knowledge, delivery skills and analytical capabilities needed to reduce road deaths. The learning outcomes from this programme will equip all successful candidates with the skills necessary to reduce casualties on our roads.” He added: “The introduction of this training programme is the ideal opportunity for those now assuming responsibility for road safety in Pakistan to equip their staff with the necessary skills.”

DIG Mirza Faran Baig said “Road safety courses have been delivered by professionals well qualified and trained from United Nations. The skilled staff of motorway police in these institutes is providing quality training in accordance with international standards and syllabus as per modern needs. Latest driving simulators, mechanical labs and specially constructed driving tracks are being fully utilized for quality training.

DIG Faran Baig further said that the trainees of Motorway Police Road Safety Training Institutes will not only help in bringing discipline on highways but also reduce the ratio of accidents. Motorway police in these training institutes is not only teaching professional driving training but has also made teachings about morals, stress management, human values, cleanliness as integral part of its training .
