Special Military Train was started derailing before Chanahwan Pul,Wazirabad: Kh Saad

Lahore: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that it has been proved that special military train was started derailing some 945 feet before Chanahwan Pul,Wazirabad,open nut bolt and fish plates were found among them some were broken too,the reasons would be decided by the joint investigation team.

Chairperson Pakistan Railways Perveen Agha,CEO Muhammad Javaid Anwar,Advisor for Railways Anjum Pervaiz,member finance Gulam Mustafa and IG Railways Munir Ahmad Chishti were also present on the occasion.

Addressing a press conference here at Railways Headquarter,Lahore, Khawaja Saad Rafique said joint investigation team has asked for more time,they would complete their task till Thursday.He condemned media for false reporting and said one columnist said IG did not visit the place whereas he remained there all the time and monitored rescue operations,another columnist stated that Railways authorities had not offered funeral prayer where as in his own newspaper a news regarding Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza was printed,another senator alleged that track was checked after passing by every train but this was not happened in the military train case.
