PML-Q Lahore president Yosaf Ahad vanished after looting 1.5 billions

Lahore: Garden Town police has set a record by registering 40 FIR’s in the same pattern under same offence but against one accused ” Yosaf Ahad Malik”,the president of PML-Q Lahore and the brother of Ayesha Ahad Malik ,a self proclaimed wife of CM Punjab son Hamza Shahbaz .

Police said that they have done their job by submitting Chalan in the court and declaring the Ahad Malik as a proclaimed offender. One case may be lodged to screw and for recovering the money of the investors but it was the decision of the high-ups that who come with a complaint ,a new FIR should be registered,the investigation officer revealed to this scriber.

Yosaf Ahad Malik was not being seen in the city for around one year after getting bail from the court soon after his sister zip his tongue against Hamza Shahbaz MNA.

Garden Town police had arrested Yosaf Ahad Malik following registration of a case against him on charges of committing fraud with many traders who purchased shops in Ahad Tower.

The traders said they had made payment to Malik but possession of the shops was not given to them so far. The administration of Ahad Towers had promised its buyers that the shops would be handed over to them by 2006 but the construction was delayed.

In 2009, Supreme Court ordered that all illegally constructed plazas in Lahore be destroyed. Punjab government while acting upon the orders of Supreme Court launched massive operation in this regard and demolished several illegally constructed plazas including Ahad Tower.

“The owners of Ahad Towers have never returned their money back, neither assured the investors for handing over their shops or offices,” Punjab Government put final nail in the coffins of their investment by demolishing the ahad Plaza top floors.

Ahad Tower still stand at Kalma Chowk  reflecting the broken dreams of investors, who had risked millions only to see the skeleton that was once supposed to be source of income for them.
The plaza is stuck in the limbo and was never completed since its foundations were laid on an illegal construction plan.

In the last six years, many of the investors have become heart patients, tension freaks and are mentally disturbed over what has become of their investment.

Abdul Razzaq was also among 861 investors, who had invested their money back in 2007 when administration/ owners of Ahad Towers (Ahad Family) was alluring the people through a media campaign regarding sale of shops/offices in the plaza .

The victims claimed that Ahad family had pocketed Rs 1.420 billion of the total 861 investors but had not given anything in return. He said only seven influential people including Punjab Deputy Prosecutor Rana Bakhtiyar, retired DSP Anti Corruption Fayyaz Lodhi, Brigadier Abubakar, Humaira Amir, Dr Anwarul Haq, Colonel Sikandar and Advocate Supreme Court Muhammad Arif Chaudhary managed to get their money back.

He said that 40 victims had registered a case against the family in Garden Town Police Station. “Now the matter is in the court. Garden Town Police have claimed that all cases file are being given to NAB Punjab for investigation and recovery. May be they people could nabbed the culprit and provide some relief to the victims.
