PFA seals 4 hotels,2 factories and one oil company

Lahore: Field teams of Punjab Food Authority during raids sealed four hotels, two sweet shops, two nimko factories and one oil company and took into custody eight thousand liter loose substandard oil, one hundred kilogram harmful slanty and 300 kilogram harmful slanty material.

Shalimar Town Food Authority team headed by Director Operations Ayesha Mumtaz raided Shalimar Oil Company on Sehar Road where 24000 liter loose oil was filled in tins of Mehboob Banaspati, 800 liters in tins of Shams Oil and 300 liters in tins of various brands. Five thousand liter loose oil was recovered from the secret godown of Shalimar Oil Company on Dars Road.

Shalimar Oil Company was sealed and two persons were arrested. On Sher Shah Road, Asghar Snacks was sealed due to substandard and harmful material and taken into custody one hundred kilogram harmful slanty and 300 kilogram harmful slanty material and eight thousand loose oil.

Ravi Town Food Authority team sealed Bilal Sweets Production Unit and Sufi Sweets Unit due to poor cleanliness and arrested nine persons.

Data Gunj Bakhsh Food Authority Team sealed Bismillah Hotel behind Services Hospital due to poor cleanliness. Heavy fine was imposed to Al-Nakhal Restaurant near Race Course Park due to poor cleanliness. A heavy fine was also imposed to Yims Private Limited due to improper storage and bad condition of workers.

Ice Food Juice & Shawarma, Raja Hotel & Chicken Pakithati Chowk, Hanif Nimko Factory Jameel Town and Haris Nimko Factory Raiwind Road were sealed due to poor cleanliness.
