Punjab Police to use drone cameras for the surveillance of the hideouts

drone camerasLahore: In order to ensure the security of the participants of various taken out processions during the different holly occasions across Punjab and the surveillance of the hideouts of hardened POs / Criminals for operational purpose, the purchased all 50 drone cameras have been handed over to all district police officers on the instructions of, Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera.

According to details, each district handed over 1, whereas, Special Branch 3, CCPO Lahore, 3, All Police Training Schools and Colleges were given 1 and Specialized Protection Unit (SPU), CTO Lahore and CTO Rawalpindi were also delivered individually one camera.

In a statement Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera said that maximum utilization of the latest technology enables the department not only to control the crime but also helped it to eliminate terrorism and smashing the most wanted gangs involved in serious crimes, besides, security of the officers / officials could also be managed through this technology. The PHP department could also made the secured traveling of the citizens across Punjab with the help of these drone cameras.

Similarly, the traffic flow and traffic management could be improved with the help of these cameras and regular traffic jam could also be easily managed.
