PTI will not remain silent on withdrawal of subsidy on electricity bills :Ch Muhammad Sarwar

PTI Ch Sarwar Pic 29Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Punjab Organizer Ch Muhammad Sarwar rejecting the proposed withdrawal of subsidy on electricity bills of small consumers has termed it as another “anti people” step and pro IMF agenda by the federal government.
Talking to a delegation led by party’s women wing leader Dr Bushra Qaisar and Dr Qaisar Mehmood here at his office on Monday, Ch Sarwar said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was steering the government via remote control.
He said that the withdrawal of subsidy upto 200 units per month for the consumers will add to their miseries and especially of‎ those belonging to the middle and lower middle classes. He said that PTI will resist and support the masses if the government took this decision. He added that PTI will adopt
every legal way and bring the people on the roads across Punjab and will stop the government from committing such tyranny.
Sarwar said that the government already was oppressing the common man through forced load shedding, price hike ,unemployment and lawlessness and now the people will never allow the rulers to squeeze the last drops of blood from their body. He was of the view that rulers who had claimed to make
the country prosperous and Asian tigers were failed to provide any relief to the masses and now they started dropping bombs of electricity tariff and taxes on the dictation of IMF that was shameful. He said that PTI will not remain silent on this anti people step and will come on the roads to stop the rulers
from such cruelties.
He urged the party workers to end differences and forge unity to make the party stronger at the grass root level before the upcoming elections. he said that PTI will ensure the participation and consultation of party workers in all decisions for the sake of the strength of the party.
