Corruption must end to improve health, education facilities : Rashid Naseem

Rashid NaseemLahore: Naib  Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Rashid Naseem, has said that adequate education and health facilities could be provided to the masses only by controlling corruption in the country estimated around Rs. 12 to 15 billion per annum.

Addressing an Iftar dinner in the city , he said that corruption had spread all around in the society. Loot and plunder of public money was common and the ruling junta considered it a right. The general public was unable to make both ends meet due to price hike and unemployment while the ruling elite was enjoying luxurious, carefree living.  Every new born child was under heavy debt of the IMF and the World Bank.

Rashid Naseem said that establishment of a corruption free society alone could guarantee prosperity of the country and public uplift. He said that the JI wanted a corruption free government.

However, he said that corruption could not be uprooted without strict accountability, from top to bottom. He said the masses could help wipe out corruption by rejecting the plunderers at the time of elections and voting for honest and dedicated leadership of the Jamaat e Islami.
