PTI to hold protest against Loadshedding today after Juma prayers

PTI protest against LoadsheddingLahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Organizer Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has said that party workers will stage a protest across the province after Juma prayers (on Friday June 26 at 4.30pm) as the high claims of the rulers to overcome electricity load shedding has proven false.
Talking to various party delegations here at his office on Thursday, he criticised the government’s concerned authorities for their failure to provide relief to the masses in Ramzanul Mubarik. He said that after the severe crises of electricity across the country, people will agitate and will not put up with such rulers.
Sarwar said that the rulers deceived the whole nation in the name of Nandipur Power Project and were initiating signing MoUs instead of taking practical steps to overcome forced loadshedding. He said that every passing day of the government was increasing burden on the poor people and their eviction
from the rule could be the guarantee to the prosperity in the country.
He was of the view that the poor policies of the government compelled the people to come on to the roads but the senseless rulers were not even ready to accept their ineligibility to address the real public issues.
Chaudhary Sarwar termed the rulers responsible of deaths due to the forced loadshedding and shortage of water in Karachi and added that they will have to answer for this.He said that PML-N has completed more than two years of its tenure but it could not overcome the problem of loadshedding as per its commitment.
