A delegation of Sikh community & Deputy Political Counselor UK visits Punjab Assembly

Lahore: MS.Jude Muxworthy deputy political counselor England Embassy visited Punjab Assembly and called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal.

They discussed matters of mutual interest and agreed to boos relations of both countries at parliamentarian level.

Speaker Punjab Assembly present a conventional model to Ms Jude Muxworth.

Provincial Minister for Human Rights Punjab Khalil Tahir Sindhu was also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile,  A 6-member delegation of Sikhs from different countries led by Member Provincial Assembly Sardar Ramaish Singh Arora visiting Guroo Dera Sahib in Pakistan called on Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan.

Other members of delegation included President Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Shaam Singh, Chairman Sikh Muslim Friendship England Sardar Manmohan Singh, former President Delhi Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Paramjeet Singh and Sikh religious leader Sardar Arvinder Singh and Preet Pali Singh.

Rana Sanaullah said that Pakistan is second home for Sikh brethren.  He said that people of Indian Punjab and Pakistani Punjab have different identity but one language and culture. Members of the delegation thanked Punjab government on making best arrangements on Shaheeda Day of Sikh Guro Arjan Diyoji Maharaaj.

Earlier, members of the delegation saw the proceedings of the session of Punjab assembly and also visited assembly building.
