The 2nd batch of 300 LTVs drivers training concludes

The 2nd batch of 300 LTVs drivers training concludes Lahore: The 2nd batch of 300 Light Transport Vehicle (LTVs) drivers training was concluded in collaborations of National Highways & Motorway Police & Punjab Skills Development Fund project at NH&MP Training College on Tuesday. The chief guest on the occasion was Inspector General Muhammed Saleem Bhatti. DIG, N-5 Central Mirza Faran Biag, DIG Ashraf Zubair Saddiqui, SSP Ather Waheed and representatives PSDF, TEVTA of different national and multi-national organization were also present in the ceremony.

IG Saleem Bhatti said Motorway Police in collaborations Punjab Government organization PSDF would provide training to professional drivers for providing opportunities at international & local level as well. This kind of professional training would result in generating new job opportunities anThe 2nd batch of 300 LTVs drivers training concludesd also lower down the unemployment in country.  The demand of such a large number of skilled drivers in international market would help to increase economic development and provide job opportunities to them, he added.  He also stressed upon the representatives of multi-national organization to offer jobs to qualified drivers of these courses. The Shell Pakistan immediately announced 25 jobs offers to qualified drivers on this occasion.

IG Saleem Bhatti said standard of training is at par with international level under the supervision of United Nation qualified staff.  He said that during 03 month training the trainees were taught though driving simulators, multimedia mechanical lab, cockpit drill, meaning of different road signs and practical driving on state of the art driving track. The trainees were imparted lectures via multimedia especially with the focus of personality development, hygiene, moral values, stress management, conduct and discipline on highways as well in society.  The international languages English, Arabic and Urdu were also taught to the participants of the course.

The Inspector General Muhammed Saleem Bhatti also distributed commendation certificates and cash rewards to the best participants of the course.
