Lahore: Punjab University has awarded 4 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Anwar Iqbal S/o Faiz Muhammad in the subject of Zoology after approval of his thesis entitled “Effect of Mannan-Oligosaccharide (MOS) Supplementation on Production Performance and Biochemical Parameters of Four Closebred Flocks of Japanese Quail Breeders”,Arfan Ali S/o Liaqat Ali in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Expression Studies of Phosphofruktokinase B. gene against Low Temperature Sweetening in Potato”, Nosheen Akhtar D/o Zahoor Ahmad in the subject of Agricultural Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled “Use of Plant Essential Oils for the Control of Fungal Deterioration in Citrus During Storage” and Shaazia Mukhtar D/o Malik Mukhtar Ahmed in the subject of Art & Design after approval of her thesis entitled “Anna Molka Ahmad: A Chronological and Critical Analysis of her Art”.
