Zaeem Qadri distributes Laptops among Information Officers

Lahore: The process of upgradation of Public Relation Department Punjab has been started for harmonizing it with modern demands. Provision of latest IT facilities is being ensure at divisional and district level.

This was stated by spokesman Punjab government Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri at a function held at Directorate General Public Relations Headquarter Office. He said that harmonizing Public Relation Department with modern demands was need of the hour and latest equipments are being provided for this purpose. He said that the role of Public Relations Department for creating mass communication awareness is unforgettable. He said that Information Department is playing very important role for informing the people about the importance of development projects.

Zaeem Qadri said that Public Relations Department has played the role of bridge between people and media. He said that Public Relations Department is playing key role in resolving problems of journalists throughout the province whereas it is discharging its duties efficiently for providing facility to the media.

He said that Chief Minister Punjab gave approval to the upgradation project of Public Relations Department for harmonizing it with modern demands. Provincial Secretary Information & Culture Momin Ali Agha while talking to Divisional Director Public Relation said that Punjab government has provided modern equipments for the improvement and capacity building of Information Department.

He said that it is responsibility of the officers to utilize their best energies for highlighting the performance of the government. Director General Public Relations Ather Ali Khan and Director Development Arif Chaudhry gave a briefing regarding upgradation of Public Relations Department.
