Dar Hockey Club team will participate in Under-16 Hockey Tournament in Holland

Lahore: 16-member Dar Hockey Club team will participate in an Under-16 Hockey Tournament in Holland. Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, on Thursday, saw off the team with best wishes here at National Hockey Stadium.

Talking to young players, DG SBP Usman Anwar urged the young players to do hard work to earn good name for the country. “When in foreign country, our players must exhibit best attitude and discipline. It’s golden opportunity for our youngsters to play in an international tournament. This exposure at such a young age will definitely will play a key role in polishing their game,” he added.

The 15-day 7-Nation Youth Hockey Tournament will be played in Amsterdam. Olympian Danish Kaleem will be the head coach during the tournament.
