Suicide blast outside Gaddafi Stadium ,2 dead 15 injured

Lahore: At least 2 people have died and 15 in a suicide blast outside the Gaddafi Stadium entrance gate at Ferozepur Road.Police initially declared it transformer blast but later CCPO Lahore Capt. Muhammad Ameen briefed the media that it was a suicide blast.The bomber could not find a way to go to near stadium and then blew himself outside the gate in desperation.

Rescue Teams immediately shifted the injured to nearby hospital.

The second ODI between Pakistan and Zimbabwe continued even after the blast.The security forces adopted a policy to stop panic that could more hazardous than the blast.

The suicide bomber came there in a Rickshaw from Mughalpura who threw a hand grenade to panic the police and the security forces and then blast himself ,the Rickshaw driver Saleem Khan gave the statement to the police.
