Siraj Ul Haq “Happy for Cricket / Sad for Axact Scandal”

Siraj ul HaqLAHORE: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that on one hand, the nation was happy over the resumption of cricket in Pakistan and there was an impression of an improved image of the county abroad, but on the other hand, the Axact scandal was brining bad name to the country.

Addressing a donors conference at Gujrat collecting donations for Islamic Pakistan, Prosperous Pakistan, he said that the degrees of hundreds of foreign qualified Pakistanis had become doubtful because of the Axact scandal.

The people offered donations at the spot with an open heart and around Rs. 7 million were collected on the occasion.

Sirajul aq Haq said that if the poor masses made a common cause with the Jamaat, it would banish poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and corruption from the motherland. He said that the common man did not get justice from the courts and added that the establishment of the Shariah courts alone could guarantee inequitable and speedy justice to the people.

The JI, he said, on coming to power, would open the coffers of the national exchequer for the public welfare and would make Pakistan clean and green. The man in the street would enjoy the facilities equal to the rich. Pakistan, under the JI government, would regain its image in the world comity and would lead the Muslim world, he added.
