Opposition in Punjab Assembly rejects JIT report on Model Town Tragedy

Lahore: Opposition in Punjab Assembly rejected JIT report on Model Town Tragedy while stating that they won’t let the blood of the 14 martyrs in vain .

The JIT had not given any importance to  the killing of the innocent people including the women and neather recorded the statements of the injured.CM Punjab was the main culprit of the tragedy but he was given clean chit,opposition leader quoted before announcing the boycott of the session.

At the moment,treasury benches made hue & cry and did not allow the opposition leader to continue his speech and the noise turned the Punjab Assembly session into a fish market.

Spokesman of the Punjab Government,MPA Zaeem Qadri offered the injured to give their statements to JIT and siad that the report has made it clear that Model Town Tragedy was a merely an incident.
