Dr Mujahid Kamran addresses the 3-day professional training workshop at Hailey College

2(19-5-15)Lahore: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran has urged the students to set their targets and perform well for success in their practical and professional life.

He was addressing the inaugural session of 3-day professional training workshop at Hailey College of Commerce jointly organized by PU Career Counseling and Placement Centre (CCPC), Western Business School and Youth Impact here on Tuesday.

PU CCPC Incharge Dr Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry, CEO of Western Business School Mrs Hamda Tariq, CEO of Youth Impact Abdul Samad Khan, Principal Hailey College of Commerce Dr Hassan Mobeen Alam, senior faculty members and students were present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Mujahid Kamran said that students must adopt the field of their choice, do their work on daily basis and keep an eye on the next day’s work.

Dr Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry said that because of encouragement of PU administration led by the vice chancellor, PU CCPC had developed linkages with 200 national and multinational companies for job placement of PU students.

Mrs Hamda Tariq said that good leaders help set destinations and students would benefit from the training workshop. She thanked University Law College Principal Dr Shazia Qureshi for providing her support in launching training program.

Abdul Samad Khan said that the three-day training program consisted of three phases in which hidden potential of students would be unearthed and their mindset would be developed. Students will also be trained in setting their priorities, he added.
