The topers have joined Punjab Police as a Sub-Inspector: IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera

CM PunjabLahore: First time in the history of Punjab police, latest training is being given to the trainee officers in all Police Training Colleges under reorganization of Continuous Professional Development Programme through which service oriented policing has been started and there will be no barrier for people in getting free and fair justice.

This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera while addressing the passing out parade of 411 Sub-Inspectors at Police Training College Sihala, today. 335 male and 76 female were included among the passed out officers.

Provincial police chief further said that senior retired judges and law experts also trained these officers about the law presentation, case studies, research papers, Cr.PC, PPC, completion of Challan besides theoretical as well as practical training. They were also trained about the maintenance of police station’s record along with the awareness about the basic human rights and values, professionalism and the handling of minorities, children and women through special lectures of renowned personalities and media persons.

Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera said these officers will also be given three months elite training respectively. He told the officers that the use of powers within the legal framework can become the guarantee of justice whereas, the misuse of powers can be the cause of injustice and the society will have to face its consequences.

These passed out officers are highly qualified among them 48 have a degree of MA/BA Hons, 35 MSc, 34 LLB, 31 Engineer, 22 M.Phil, 1 Ph.D Scholar, 17 MBA, 04 M.Cs 2 ACCA, 14 B.S, 20 BBA, 30 BSc, 41 M.Com/B.Com and 112 trainees have a degree of Bachelors.

First position holder of today’s passing out was a labourer, Muhammad Nadeem belongs to district Muzaffargarh who completed his education from matric to M.A and also gold medalist in L.L.B within his limited sources. The second femal topper Sumaira Nazir was also MSc in Chemistry and M. Phil in Forensic Chemistry belongs to Government College, Lahore.
