CM ASSURES JUSTICE TO FAMILY OF A CITIZEN MURDERED IN OKARA

CM PUNJAB (1)Lahore: The heirs of the deceased Malik Muhammad Boota who was murdered in Okara, called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today.

The Chief Minister assured the family of the deceased Malik Muhammad Boota that investigation into the murder case will be conducted on merit and demands of justice will be fulfilled. He directed to hand over the case to Additional Inspector General Police and to complete reinvestigation within 15 days.

The Chief Minister also announced financial assistance of Rs.5 lakh for the family of the deceased. Those who met the Chief Minister included Safina Kausar, widow of the deceased, his minor son, brother-in-law Faryad and others.

Member National Assembly Pervaiz Malik, Prosecutor General Punjab, Additional Inspector General Police (Investigation) and former and present DPOs of Okara besides other police officials were present on the occasion. It is mentioned here that during the visit of Chief Minister to Vehari, yesterday, the brother-in-law of the deceased Faryad had met him and appealed to him to provide justice upon which Shahbaz Sharif had asked him to come to Lahore and assured that demands of justice will be met at any cost.
