PML – Q was the biggest target of the riggers in elections 2013:Ch Zaheer

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Punjab General Secretary and former opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Ch Zaheeruddin Khan has said after Election Tribunal verdict in NA-125 case all doubts have turned into sure that rigging was resorted to at massive level in 2013 general elections, the verdict has also proved that the ruling party has got fake registry of the Lahore Fort.

He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of office-bearers and workers in the Muslim League House here today.

Ch Zaheeruddin Khan said that PML (Q) was the biggest target of the riggers in elections 2013, dozens our candidates were defeated by changing the results, we have also approached the Judicial Commission against rigging. He said after the elections all parties had said that in 2013 elections the Returning Officers and the ROs had played important role at someone’s instance and the same has now also been said by Khawaja Saad Rafiq that the ROs and the Presiding Officers are responsible for rigging in his constituency. He said the ROs and the Presiding Officers must be made accountable so that the nation comes to know the reality of 2013 general election.
