Fahmida Mirza seek Court intervention to save Zulfiqar Mirza life

Fahmida MirzaLahore: Former speaker National Assembly Fahmida Mirza sought Court intervention to save Zulfiqar Mirza life.

In an emergent press conference,Fahmida Mirza announced to go to Badin as a member of parliament to save the lives of the PPP workers who supported Dr Zulfiqar Mirza.She said she had not seen such time even in 1997 which was the toughest time for the PPP.

The former speaker said she never spoke on any issue since two years but enough is enough.I talked to IG Sindh but police mobiles remain there outside mirza house.Badin was being cordoned off people event could not get a drop of water,why this was happening to the workers of Pakistan Peoples Party,she maintained.

Fahmida Mirza said Dr Zulfiqar Mirza was barred to join investigation,he was not provided the security despite the court orders,media tell us why all this is happening,she questioned?

She said I am PPP’s MNA,Badin’s people elected her four times and she is bound for their protection.Fehmida Mirza expressed concerns over security of Zulfiqar Mirza, said police contingents from across Sindh are deployed in Badin.She also called on Federal govt for appointment of IG Sindh on merit.
