Lady DSP Khadija Tasneem dismissed for long absence

Female-Police-DSP-Khadija-Tasneem-ResignsLahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has removed the Lady DSP Khadija Tasneem from Service on proving the charges of negligence, misconduct and violation of official discipline.

According to details, the removed DSP remained absent from her duty for 14 days in Chakwal afterwards her services were attached with Police College Sihala from where on 01-09-2014 she absented from duties without any leave or permission from the competent authority. She did not report back up till now.

The removed DSP was served so many notices through courier service / special messengers and through national dailies to personally appear before the competent authority for her defense. After failing to compliance these notices and in personal appearance at all forums, the competent authority while exercising his powers vested under chapter-I 2(b) of the Punjab Civil Servants (E&D) Rules, 1999 find her guilty of the charges and awarded her major punishment of “REMOVAL FROM SERVICE” with immediate effect and her period of absence shall be treated as Leave without Pay.
