World Boxing Council invites three Pakistani boxers and a coach for acquiring top professional training

World Boxing Council president Mauricio SulaimanLahore: The World Boxing Council (WBC) has invited three Pakistani boxers and a coach for acquiring top professional training at Mexico City.

The invitation from WBC was in response to an agreement between Punjab government and WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman penned down by the two parties during the latter’s visit to Lahore.

In a letter of invitation to Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, Sulaiman said that one of the agreements he had with the Punjab government during his visit was to invite three boxers and one trainer to come to Mexico City for training.

Sulaiman said that as regards to the hospitality extended to him in Lahore, the WBC invites coach Noman Kareem, and boxers Muhammad Naeem, Afzal Abbas and Ameer Hamza for specialised training under the supervision of world class qualified coaches and trainers.

“The WBC will take care of the Pakistan team with all the lodging and boarding during their stay in Mexico City for getting top professional training,” he added.
