Lahore: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has completed mammoth books distribution drive in Punjab Monday with distribution of more than eight lakh books in 506 school partners belonging to Lahore, Faisalabad, Hafizabad, Kasur, Nankana sahib and Sheikhupura in the last phase of the distribution drive.
A total of six million textbooks were distribution in four thousand partner schools in 36 districts. PEF set up 20 books distribution points in different districts to facilitate the school partners. PEF Director (Finance) Kamran Hafeez was made convener of the committee to supervise the distribution.
Under supervision of the PEF Chairman, Qamar ul Islam Raja, a computerized books distribution system was launched to ensure timely and efficient distribution of books.
