Justice should be provided to the family of the deceased student: CM Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of murder of a 15-year old student Zain due to firing in Cavalry Ground and sought a report from DIG Operations. The Chief Minister ordered immediate arrest of the accused and directed that action should be taken against them as per law. He said that justice should be provided to the family of the deceased student at any cost.

On the direction of the Chief Minister, police has arrested an accused Mustafa Kanju involved in the killing of a 15-year old student Zain. Shahbaz Sharif said that justice will be provided to the affected family at every cost and the accused will be awarded deterrent punishment as per law.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, taking immediate notice on the appeal of mother of deceased Zain, has directed police officials to immediately arrest those threatening the family of late Zain and all possible protection should be provided to the affected family. He said that everyone is equal before the law and the accused will not escape punishment. He said that not only justice will be done but seems to have been done.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees for the heirs of Zain, a 15-year old student died due to firing at Cavalry Ground. The Chief Minister said that justice would be provided to the aggrieved family at every cost.
