Every Muslim’s duty bound to protect Haramain Sharifain:Ch Shujaat Hussain

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has said that Saudi Arabia is also our country and every Muslim’s duty bound to protect Haramain Sharifain, OIC should take immediate effective steps to save Middle East from war.Ch Shujaat Hussain

In a statement issued here today he emphasized on searching justifiable solution of Yemen dispute through Arab League and OIC and expressed the confidence that ruler of Saudi Arabia Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud possesses such leadership and statesmanship capabilities that he will succeed in solving this crisis in a commendable manner.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that every Pakistani was grateful and obliged to Saudi royal family and people for open support and help Saudi Arabia has extended to Pakistan in every difficult time and aggression and regards it as his duty to fully support Saudi Arabia in this hour.

He said that he was personally aware about the capabilities of Khadim ul Haramain Sharifain, when he was Governor of Riyadh he had the opportunity to be with him for four days during which he was very much impressed by his God-given capabilities, he is very much concerned and conscious in his heart about entire Muslim Ummah in particular for Pakistan and he has always practically supported progress, prosperity and stability of Pakistan, this is the best opportunity for us to reciprocate for the love of Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and Saudi people with the same spirit and steadfastly.

Ch Shujaat Hussain pointedly stated that Pakistan has always played effective role over and above sectarianism to stop the Muslims from internal conflict and bloodshed and present govt should also work with the same spirit. Expressing heartfelt sympathies for Pakistanis besieged in Yemen he said that the govt should pay full attention to their help and evacuation and take special measures for their return home at the earliest possible.
