Secretary Health notice throwing measles vaccine in nullahs of Lahore

Lahore: Secretary Health Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik has taken notice of media reports regarding allegedly throwing measles vaccine in different dirty nullahs of Lahore.

He said that a 4-member high level inquiry committee headed by DCO Lahore Capt. (R) Muhammad Usman has been constituted.

Other members of the committee include Dean Institute of Public Health Prof. Moaz Ahmed, Additional Secretary Technical Dr. Salman Shahid and Director Health Headquarters Dr. Ahmed Afifi. The spokesman informed that after thorough investigation of the incident, inquiry committee will submit its report to Secretary Health within 24 hours.
