Wiping out terrorism is the foremost responsibility of the government:Hafiz Idrees

Hafiz IdreesLahore: Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has said that wiping out terrorism was the foremost responsibility of the government.

Addressing the participants of the JI central workshop at Mansoora on Sunday, he said that taking up arms in a Muslim society and killing innocent citizens was prohibited in Islam. He said that in Islam, even the lives of non-Muslim citizens were protected.

The JI deputy chief said that the gruesome tragedy of the Baldia Town factory resulting in the burning to death of nearly three hundred workers was the work of the extortion mafia as had been disclosed by the one of the accomplices. He said it was to be seen how the rulers deal with the terrorist group involved in the tragedy.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that nobody was safe in the country and the government seemed o be a total failure. He said that if the murderers of humanity were not punished under the law, peace could never be established in the country. He said that punishing the innocent and acquitting the criminal was the worst form of enmity towards humanity.
