However it was the responsibility of the elected government to begin a campaign against economic terrorism, corruption and the menace of nepotism and relieve the masses from the energy crisis, price spiral, unemployment and street crimes.

Liaqat Baloch said that after the exposure of the hidden hand behind the Baldia Town factory in Karachi, the government, the state institutions and the law enforcement bodies should immediately proceed  against the party involved in the burning to death of nearly three hundred faLiaqat Balochctory workers. He said that the MQM was not a political party, it was a fascist group.

The JI central leader said that the country was facing terrorism as a result of foreign interference and US.-India collusion. The enemy was acting on its great game to destabilize this country, divide the nation and prove it a failed state.

Liaqat Baloch disapproved the insulting behavior of the government machinery towards the Afghan refugees and traders and said this was unwise. He said that Pakistan had served the cause of Afghanistan for a long period. He said the US was withdrawing from the area and the Afghans would be in a position to decide their own affairs. As such, insulting behavior towards the Afghan refugees would create problems for this country.  He said that a friendly attitude towards the Afghans at this conclusive stage would help keep the Afghans as our friends.
