Lahore: Hockey fans will watch an exciting encounter at the Army Hockey Stadium when two top teams of the country Pakistan International Airlines and National Bank of Pakistan shall battle in the final to lift the First Chief of the Army Staff Challenge Hockey Cup here on Sunday.
Both teams remained unbeaten in the Tournament and would certainly take the field to maintain their supremacy which warrants a thrilling contest. Pakistan Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif is expected to grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
Earlier, Army (Seniors) stunned Sui Southern Gas Company with a 3-0 win in the match that was played to decide the third position holder in the ongoing Tournament. Few expected that Sui Gas would give away the match easily. Mohammed Imran was instrumental in his team’s convincing victory scoring two beautiful goals. Habib-ur-Rehman scored the third goal for Army. Sui Gas despite getting a couple of opportunities failed to avail them.
