Police baton charge Govt Islamia School students

Lahore: After making a World Record by beating the blinds ,Lahore Police have another feather in his crown by doing baton charge on the kids who staged protest against the handing over the control of their school.The students of the Government Islamia School on Thursday were demonstrating a protest against the taking over of school  from the trust managment and an increase in school dues when the police baton charged them in response to their protest.

The young students demonstrated a protest at the Bhati Chowk. The police in order to control the situation, which did not seem to go out of control though, baton charged them for their protest resulting the injuries to some students.The cries of the kids forced the parents to shed blood tears but it did not make any affect on the cops who were remain busy in baton charge upon the little students.

The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and ordered inquiry into the matter. He has ordered Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Wing Dr Haider Ashraf to submit a report on the matter. Moreover, the CM directed the authorities concerned to identify the people behind the incident.

On the other hand,IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from CCPO Lahore with the comments that no one could be allowed to torture upon women and kids.

Earlier,SP City Asad Sarfraz Khan visited the spot himself and talked to media that he has no authority to resolve the issue but they have sent a report to the authorities in this regard.They are bound to provide security in any condition.As he left the scene a police party led by SHO Bhjatti Gate SI Mazhar Iqbal started baton charge to disperse the protestors.
